With years of construction experience, we have developed valuable preconstruction concepts that can save you money. Our value savings services can be applied at any stage of the drawing process. This allows us to share cost-saving ideas with the owner.
The most effective savings is by reviewing the project at the early stages with the owner and/or architect either before or at schematic drawings. Value savings is also achieved before the completion of architectural drawings, thus avoiding unnecessary costly changes by the architect which in turns saves on subcontractor’s pricing.
Our confidence in our value savings services is reflected in our fee structure. We charge no fee but simply split any accepted savings ideas 50-50 with the owner. If the owner decides not to take any of our value savings, there is no charge for our time and effort. Our services are not geographically specific and can be performed almost anywhere.
Our approach to cost savings is logical and systematic, not a gimmick, and value savings is not reducing the quality of the product. Sometimes the savings is in reducing the construction time schedule not just the product. It is important to note that once architectural drawings are completed, value savings may be less effective. Changes may require the architect to amend plans, impacting other trades and potentially limiting some of value savings benefits. For example, if site drawings have been approved by planning and architectural boards, changes may require resubmitting the application.
