Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory

AllertonFox Construction was proud to be contracted for the construction of the new Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab, a state-of-the-art Class 2 imaging room with supporting spaces for pre- and post-operative care for same-day surgery. This 7,500-square-foot build was seamlessly integrated into a newly constructed building adjacent to the existing hospital facilities.

A key feature of the project was the installation of structural steel to support the Philips “C” arm, a critical imaging system used during Cath Lab procedures. This project also marked the introduction of a new program supporting the Montefiore Nyack Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation , enhancing the hospital’s ability to provide advanced cardiac care.

Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, AllertonFox Construction, alongside our dedicated trade contractors, successfully completed the project on time. Turned over in time for the New Year, the new Cath Lab ensures Montefiore Nyack Hospital can deliver this essential program to better serve their patients and community.
