Working in health care is difficult at best. I have known and worked with Terry Allerton since the late 1980s. We were both involved in an office and industrial project where I was the architect and he was the contractor. Terry and his team took this stalled project, which was roughly 20 percent over budget, and through clever value engineering was able to bring the project back online without compromising the integrity or architectural character of the building in the end.

I leased an existing vacant 35,000 sq. ft. gym facility in Manhattan. I hired AllertonFox to assist with pre-construction services and project planning and then hired them knowing they could deal with the difficulties we were sure to encounter with the existing mechanical and design challenges.
